Cliffs of Moher & Burren - The Galway Tour Company’s

enjoy the varied landscape that unfolds throughout the day, we make numerous
stops, not least at Clifden Town - the capital of Connemara, where we make a
welcome coffee stop before calling to Kylemore Abbey - "Ireland’s most romantic
building". Kylemore Abbey, an idyllic getaway for a previous owner is now the
monastic home to the Benedictine Order of Nuns in Ireland.
Burren & Cliffs Walking Tour - The Burren & Cliffs
Walking Tour departs Galway City at the early time of 09:00 am as we take our
time to explore the Burren in all its beauty. Starting with a short hike in a
nature reserve you will discover the serene beauty of a 6th century hermitage, a
holy well and get an introduction to the geology and flora that make the Burren
so special
Aran Islands Tour (Ferry/Shuttle Bus) - A trip to the Aran
Islands is an ideal tonic to escape the pressures of modern life. If you are
looking for a place to commune with nature, be inspired and find peace to
envelop body & soul, look no further. Whether you wish to bask on sandy
beaches, sailboard, or just walk the quiet winding byways, the Aran Islands have
it all.
Local – Things to see and do – the following is available locally
Galway Market - The farmers market is on every Saturday
morning from 9am to 4pm, this is located on Market Street – just off Shop Street
right in the City Centre where you can buy the local home made breads, foods,
organics, crepes, curries, soups or simply browse through the Artists stalls
Traditional Music Sessions – Galway is famous for its
traditional Irish music. You will find many bars have live traditional music
throughout the day and evening. Please ask at Reception what bars are playing
“trad music” on any particular evening.
Salthill Promenade – Start your day off taking in the
breathtaking views of Salthill Beach and surrounding areas all along the sea
front.
Shopping – Shopping in Galway is a colorful experience with
something to offer everyone be it the shopping centre’s, the small craft shops,
fashion shops, gift shops, for everything you could possibly need or want.
